Julie is originally from Dallas, Texas. As a child, she excelled in sports and art and played the
violin and piano. "The Sound of
Music" inspired countless hours of dreaming and a secret desire to become a nun like Maria. However, when she told her brothers, they informed her that she would have to commit to a life of celibacy. After much reflection, she decided she could play a nun- and play a police woman- whatever her heart desired. It all started there. Eventually, she made her way to New York City where she studied at Circle in the Square
Theatre School. After school, she began performing in theatre Off and Off-Off Broadway. Now she resides in sunny Los
Angeles where she happily plays moms, reporters, political activists and forlorn wives in film, television, commercials and theatre. *She is still waiting to play a nun.
